A 2013 CBC Mission Trip

Garden of Hope Dorms, Farm House Suites, Patio

Discovery 2013…. The Strategic Ministry of the Holy Spirit.…. is the theme for the 2013 CBC Colorado Mission Team.

Did you know the Holy Spirit already has a PLAN for reaching people globally?  Our purpose is “to Hear Him and to Know Him” so each one of us “truly knows” what our Ephesians 2:10 ministry is. As we individually and collectively do that it will automatically align with the Global Master Plan of the Holy Spirit !!

Read Matthew 28:18-20 below…. according to these 3 verses,  what is the purpose for the “Authority” given to Jesus as mentioned in verse 18 ?

Matthew 28: 18-20  18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Understanding the KTM Strategy And The CBC Mission Trip Goals

  • A Discipleship Focus : KTM  is working with businesses, schools, prisons and church’s to establish Discipleship Groups. KTM role is to equip student, business and church leaders how to facilitate and grow groups. We have found you must spend quality time working with leaders 1 on 1 and in groups. It’s NOT just a one week-end training session. It takes month’s of relationship and training together before the Lord releases others to start a new group that is effective and healthy.
  • Training Student Leaders in DE: At the schools we work with, our goals are to raise up student leaders in Small Group Facilitation and Interactive learning of the bible,  using well prepared materials KTM provides to the student leaders.  This is on-going so the CBC help is really needed.
  • On-Going Teen and Youth Bible Groups at the School: The Sat. outreach is for both the school and the neighborhood, to connect with people and to let them know “we care” and we love them”.  And to NOT just end on Sat. we want to plug the teens and children into Spanish DE Groups that will be at the school. KTM is training the student leaders to facilitate small DE groups and lead them on their own.  KTM provides monthly support and training to these student leaders.
  • Parents / Family 8 Week DE Institute After CBC Ministers Leave: For the parents and other older people who would not receive well from student leaders, KTM is doing a “8 week Institute of Training at the School” . We are believing God will raise up several leaders from the parents and that 8 weeks worth of training and use of materials will start other groups.
  • 100 Family Focus & Future Follow-Up : At the school, 100 families have been selected by the principal, so they know the CBC Ministers are coming.  Their hearts should be well prepared to receive from the CBC Ministers going into these homes.  we also want to invite them to the 8 Week KTM DE Training. KTM will provide the materials and invitations in Spanish to give to these 100 families. If CBC Munsters can’t finish, then our teams will complete the rest.  Please provide any notes and other data as you do these visits.
  • Discipleship For Business  Men and Women Fellowships: KTM develops relationships with business leaders as the Lord opens doors.  After a relationship is developed, we then propose some type of discipleship training we do with the business owners and or his employees.
  • Kingdom Expansion NOT KTM Ministry Expansion: Christ has called to build and establish His Kingdom and not our own kingdoms. So, what the Lord has shown us to reach as many people as possible with DE in many different denominations, these are NOT KTM groups. Rather, they are “Discipleship Groups” with people in their “sphere of influence”. KTM does continue to help and support groups on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis depending on the needs and desires of a particular DE Group.

Results:   Over the past 2 years KTM teams, to the glory of God, has establish 230+ Discipleship Groups with over 2,300 people being ministered to in schools, business, ministries, church and other venues. the cool thing is that we train those groups “to go and do likewise” as they are led to disciple and connect with other people.

About The KTM Team: We have a great team of ministers who love God. On this link are a few of the KTM Board Members and key ministers to help us do what God has called each of us to do. Click here For Bios on Key KTM Leaders, Board Members and Advisors.

Grace and Faith Leadership Bios

Kingdom Transition Ministries and the CBC 2012 Mission Trip Leaders include Bruce and Joyce Ball, Gary and Diane Luecke  …..  ! Welcome All !

Here is a short bio on all these leaders from Grace and Faith Home Church

Bruce and Joyce Ball:

Bruce and Joyce Ball raised a family of three children in the South prior to arriving in Colorado Springs, CO., to attend CBC.  They graduated in May 2011.  They both work in the medical field.  Bruce is a registered nurse working in ambulatory surgery.  Joyce is currently working with the army at Fort Carson, as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner.  They have three grandchildren, enjoy outdoor activities, and attend Grace and Faith Bible Church.

Bruce and Joyce traveled on their first mission trip to Ecuador in 1989.  Because of that transforming experience they have continued to make short-term trips a part of their lives.  They have used their occupational training to conduct medical mission trips to many countries.  The teams have always had an emphasis on evangelism and church planting, working with the local missionaries.  Over the past few years, they have led several teams, consisting of youth and adults, to do medical mission work in the remote jungles of Nicaragua.   They especially enjoy this type of work, when able to introduce youth to the mission field.

Bruce and Joyce are very excited about the trip to Costa Rica (one country they have never visited), especially being able to travel with families, including children and youth.

Gary and Diane Luecke:  Gary is the Director of Charis Bible College and has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Lamar University and is a graduate of Charis Bible College. Gary was employed by a large automobile finance company until he was called to attend CBC.

Gary and Diane’s desire is to see people pursue God with all their hearts and discover God’s destiny for their lives (Romans 12:1, 2). Gary and his wife, Diane, have five awesome children who are serving the Lord along with them.

Gary and Diane pastor a church based on home church biblical principals and all 5 of the children are an important part of the ministry too !

ABOUT THE VACATION PART AFTER THE MISSION:

For the vacation part I know some owners of beach homes we have favor with and I was able to get some super, super discounts on 2 homes in an area called Hacienda Pinilla and they have 7 beach’s to pick from.

We’d have 2 large homes. One home sleeps 14+ the other sleeps 10+ and they only a few minutes apart in the 4,500 acre Beach Resort area.

The cost will be only $14 per person per night, not including food, but we have 2 kitchens to cook if we like.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEC7VvkgxN4 —check out this short video of Hacienda Pinilla, it is a 4,500 acre private tropical beach community.

We are going to do 1/2 day outreach at a town named Tamarindo near Hacienda Pinilla too.

But, that gives us 3 full nights in Pinilla for vacation and connecting with each other more.

We’d need to leave Sat. late afternoon Aug. 4th because we need to stay very near the airport Sat. night because we need to be at airport by 5 AM Sunday morning.

People need to budget for the Pinilla vacation part $14 per person per night ($42 pp total) for lodging plus food and anything you want to do. Surf, snorkel, zipline etc.

Transportation Estimate including gas round-trip for 2 large VANS that seats 15 people each is $45 per person.  This is cheaper than going by BUS. Plus, we have transportation once we arrive in Tamarindo / Hacienda Pinilla resort area, so this SAVES a lot of money.  The KTM team including Jim and Lynn are going to Nicaragua on Sat. afternoon and we will be driving our own SUV and vehicles we own in Costa Rica.

1 night hotel near San Jose airport is 18 for dorm style, or $28 for private room. Let us know which type of room you want us to book for you.
